The low power graphite electrodes produced by our company are mainly made from high-quality graphite, petroleum coke, needle coke as raw materials, and coal tar pitch as a binder. They are made through calcination, batching, mixing, molding, roasting, graphitization, and machining. They are conductors that release electrical energy in the form of an arc in an electric arc furnace to heat and melt the furnace material; The graphite used has good crystallinity, high purity, low ash content, and fine particle size. Silicides, carbon fibers, and antioxidants are added in appropriate amounts to improve the mechanical strength, thermal shock resistance, oxidation resistance, and excellent conductivity and stability of low power graphite electrodes. Our manufacturing process has also optimized the electrode cross-sectional shape. Through our company's scientific research, we have found that low-power graphite electrodes can adopt more economical circular or rectangular cross-sections, or the optimal cross-sectional shape can be determined through simulation analysis to reduce resistance and energy loss. The internal structure adopts a multi-layer or composite structure design, with high-density graphite used internally to ensure conductivity, and low-density graphite used externally to increase thermal stability and thermal shock resistance.
